Clients usually worry that their home isn’t suitable for the family photoshoot. But hey, Hart of Tomato Photo started his career as an Interior Photographer and had photographed thousands of homes. And his focus was to make the space look as beautiful as possible. Naturally, he understands how to get the best angle for your home.

Tomato Photo’s photography style focuses on the essence of a person, their demeanour, expressions and body language. We shoots what feels right and looks right. It is our quest to preserve memories of who you are at this point of time. 

A person’s physical look will change over time, but the essence of who we are remains. So it you wonder why our portraits looks different, it’s because Hart shoots what you can see but can’t capture.

As a Master Photographer, Hart get 95% of what he need in the camera, leaving 5% of work in photoshop. Children often have scratches on their face, bump on their head, dirt on the shirt, etc… these are the 5% that he does in the editing process. Furthermore, as he manages the photoshoot to editing to archival process single handedly, there is continuity and consistency for every single shoot.

The challenge was to tell a story for this little girl and capture who she is, her “position” in the family, at the same time, getting the tweens to smile naturally.

All these being done at the comfort of their home where everything that is needed for the family photoshoot is within reach.
