The most luxurious of gifts  is fine art paper as its an exquisite way of displaying and protecting your images.

We provide museum quality fine art papers and rapid turnaround time, professional print and colour management. Fine art paper is very different from standard paper. Normal paper is made by crushing timber into pulp, then refining it to create paper. While great for photocopying, paper made this way is not suitable for fine art reproduction. The wood pulp contains lots of impurities that reduce the lifespan of the print significantly. Instead of wood pulp, our fine art papers are made from 100% cotton rag. This is high grad cotton which has been rolled into an extremely high quality printing paper. Frame this print with our custom made frames which come in either black or white and you have yourself a true master piece.  Prices starting at $150.00

Family holiday 2015…

Every year, many families including ours planning for holiday either locally or within the region or some place far away…

Holiday is an interesting way to relax, spending time together, recharge, refresh and ready to tackle what’s ahead of us when we are back.

Our children loves animal, playground and intrigue with natural and we love some where that is quiet, some place to think.

Pictures are great way to remember what we do, where we go, food we eat, and most importantly, what our kids do… I love capturing what our kids do as that reminds me of who they were as they grow… It is always a great pleasure to see those images of them growing up. I tend to organise those picture in an album with images that I took of them… they could tell me so much details about our holiday that we did years ago and I thought, their memories are good but only discover that they co-sleeping with those album from time to time. That gives me the motivation to keep doing it and best part of being a photographer, I have an in-house album designer who can take on the job for me… if left to me, nothing will be done.

However, for those who know how, have the time and willing to do it themselves… there are a few album printers in Singapore/Malaysia… (I have not tried them, but they seems to be legit, check them out before making a purchase…)

1. Photo Genie –
2. Photobook –
3. Photobookmart –
4. Fotohub –

I have help some of my clients to do the same using the resources that we have to get their holiday pictures organised. It is the part of what I believe in preserving memories… helping others to have something tangible to remember their holiday with. So why don’t email us if you simply want something to keep yet find it difficult to jungle everything yourself while have the layout done by professional album designer?

Bali Trip – Holiday & Children Photography

Hello all,

Just got back from a short trip in Bali.

Traveling with children is often challenging especially during the flight or the car ride from one place to another. We generally just spend time together and playing with the children and keep the sight-seeing to minimum.

This trip, we stayed at The Samaya, Ubud ( It was a very interesting and quiet villa for those who like serenity and peaceful surrounding.

Breakfast was nothing but the best we had so far and best of all, it is served anywhere you like within The Semaya, but most of the time, we had ours in our room or just by the pool right outside the villa. A short trekking trip around the local Padi Field can be arranged with the concierge. Best of all, if you are looking for amazing personalise service… this is one of the best you could experience. Oh… did I mentioned the Afternoon Tea as well???

We spend majority of our time around Ubud with exception of just 1 day that we visit Mt-Batur and Tegalalang…

A few eating place that you should check out while you are at Ubud, Bali are the following:
1. Warung Babi Guling – Ibu Oka at Jl. Tegal Sari No 2 (they serve traditional Babi Guling (suckling pig) and very nice nasi campur) – always packed with people but worth to try it out if you do eat pork.
2. Naughty Nuri’s Warung – They are famous for their “ribs” and other local food. There are 2 of them on the same stretch, the original location and the newer premises which is 20-30 meters down. The ribs are mouth watering… spicy chilly sauce is very very nice for those who love spicy…
3. Cafe Wayan – This is a very nice restaurant which serve both local and international cuisine and the food are wonderful with great atmosphere
4. Lotus Cafe – This is very scenic restaurant with average food quality. It features a expansive of Lotus Pond on the vicinity of Saraswati Puri near Ubud Center.
5. Loji Warung @ Tegalalang – a local food with a view to the entire famous rice terrace… the food is delicious however, just make sure you are not way too hungry when you arrive as it may take a while to have the food prepared… but well, great things are worth waiting for.

Like any other trip, as a photographer, I couldn’t travel with a bag-full of photographic gear… and here is what I bring with me…

Sony A850
Sigma 12-24 EX
Carl Zeiss 24-70 f2.8
Vivitar Series I 70-210 f2.8

Sony NEX 5
Sony 18-55
Sony 16mm f2.8

Gitzo Traveller CF tripod
Lowepro Inverse 200AW bag + pouches

I am very please that I bought along Sony NEX 5 system, which allow me to capture very high resolution images without all the “bulk” associated with it. It end up to be my most “used” system on this trip. More than 80% of the images during this trip was taken using the Sony NEX 5 System. The sweep panorama feature was an interesting feature of the camera… I will bring this camera system with me next time on my trip and won’t worry about the “big DSLR”…. love it. It allow me to have baby in one arm and camera in another type of shooting mode.

Here are images that I took (apart from a couple of shots with me in it) during this trip…
