Experience With Babies & Kids?

Hart was among the early photographers in Singapore to specialise in photographing newborns as young as 4–5 days old.

Over the years, he has worked extensively with babies and children, developing a deep understanding of how to engage them naturally. Shy kids arrive in the studio; and walk out smiling and laughing.

His images speak for themselves — capturing genuine smiles, expressions, little mannerisms and connections that parents often don’t even realise exist.

So 1 hour or so is what we need to create many beautiful images for your family. Should we feel that you need more time, we will do so on the day.

What If It Rains During outdoor shoot

If there is heavy rain, the session can be moved to the studio or rescheduled to another mutually convenient time.

For light drizzle or overcast conditions, the shoot will usually proceed as planned, as these often create soft, flattering light.

In all cases, we will stay in close contact and make the best decision together based on the weather on the day.

3. FAQ – Before The Shoot

What kind of clothing should we bring?

Clothing should be reflection on who you are as a family. If your family prefer bright and happy colours, then that’s what you should be wearing.

However, do avoid busy pattern such as small flowery pattern, checked pattern or big bold logos and anything that is distracting.

White, Black, off-white and soft color (blue, pink, yellow, green) tend to look timeless.

Here’s a checklist for reference.

RecommendedAvoid
Coordinated colourEveryone wearing different colours
Neutral tonesBusy patterns, Big logos, checked, small flowery pattern
Comfortable fitClothes that restrict movement; or oversized for kids
Matching dress shoes/covered shoesSlippers or open toe shoes/sandals

What Happen if my are not cooperative during the shoot?

With over a decade of experience in handling even the toughest kids who many parents told us that won’t smile, our clients keep coming back because they get the results, consistently, every single time.

Yes, all sessions are fully guided by Hart.

Are Props Provided?

Our style of photography focuses on people — their expressions, relationships and genuine moments.

Props are not the main focus, but rather a complement to the image. In the studio, this comes in the form of thoughtfully selected furniture and, for newborns, simple wraps that keep the look clean and timeless.

If your child has a favourite toy or item they are strongly attached to, you are most welcome to bring it along. It can often help them feel more comfortable and adds a personal touch to the session.

At the heart of every image is still what matters most which is the connection, expression and your family as you are.

Do you provide graduation gowns?

We have a collection of adults and kindergarten graduation gowns in our studio. If you require specific gown, do get in touch to check availability in advanced.
