Absolutely. Babies and toddlers are often part of our multi-generation family photoshoots.

Hart has more than 18 years of experience photographing children of different ages, from newborn babies and toddlers to teenagers. Rather than expecting young children to sit still and smile on command, he works around their personalities and attention spans while keeping the larger family session moving.

Our studio comfortably accommodates multi-generation families of around 25 people, although the actual number depends on the mix of adults and children.

Families with more young children can often accommodate a larger group. Hart has photographed and carefully arranged a 36 people multi-generation family portrait in the studio.

If your family is larger than 25, let us know the number of adults and children and we’ll advise on the best arrangement.

Most sessions are completed within approximately one hour.

Once everybody arrives, Hart works efficiently, particularly with young children and elderly family members, so the experience doesn’t need to become unnecessarily long.

Every family photoshoot at Tomato Photo is personally photographed by Hart Tan. Tomato Photo does not rotate sessions between different photographers.

The session fee is S$450, with photographs and finished products selected separately. Most families invest approximately S$1,500 onwards. See the Family Photoshoot Investment section above for details.

If someone becomes unwell before the photoshoot, particularly an elderly family member or young child, we can usually reschedule the session to another suitable date.

We understand that coordinating a large extended family isn’t always straightforward. If something unexpected happens, get in touch with us as soon as possible and we’ll work with you on the available options.

Yes. Hart is multilingual and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia, and also speaks Hokkien and Teochew dialects.

This can be especially helpful during a multi-generation family photoshoot, as Hart can communicate directly with grandparents while arranging the family and guiding them through the session.
